Learning Agreements

checklisteBasically, the following applies: the advising professor must agree with the student, preferably before or at the latest at the start of the study abroad period, a programme of studies which the student can have accredited, in as far as this is possible based on the information available from the host university.

We therefore recommend that when you are completing your application, you take the time  to think about what courses you want to focus on at the partner university.

To secure the agreed programme of study, a

Learning Agreement

must be completed.

learning-agreementStudents, after returning from their time abroad, must complete a further form, the application for accreditation of courses taken, based on their learning agreements, Accreditation of course achievements obtained abroad. Here the degree coordinators will confirm the student’s actual achievements abroad and convert these into the German grade system.

Once the accreditation is completed, the student goes to the examinations office where the grades are registered in their Nürnberg account.

The Learning Agreement issued by the School governs the accreditation of achievements =>Signatures of the respective module coordinators
